International Prayer Alert: Grateful thanks to the Lord and You who Prayed! (Nov. 6, 2024)
Dear Praying Friends,
On behalf of all our countrymen and women as well as our children and grandchildren whose lives will be so positively affected by the outcome of the election yesterday, I want to thank you for your strong prayers of support for America. Our merciful God has brought about His answer in such a marvelous manner! President Trump and the Republicans have captured not only the White House and Senate, but also are expected to retain the House of Representatives as well in a clean sweep. Glory be to the Lord! It is a new beginning for our nation that will also, we believe, ripple out to other nations for their good as well.
In his victory speech early this morning, Trump struck a unifying tone in what has been a sorely divided nation. “We’re going to help our country heal.” He promised a “golden age” for America and said he “will not rest until we have delivered the strong, safe, and prosperous America that our children deserve and that you deserve… “It’s time to unite and we’re going to try. We’re going to try. We have to try. And it’s going to happen. Success will bring us together. I’ve seen that. I’ve seen that. I saw that in the first term. When we became more and more successful, people started coming together.”
After Trump concluded his speech, all his assembled supporters burst into singing their praise to the Lord with the chorus, “How Great Thou Art”! They and others across American so profoundly realize that it was only the great Lord of the universe who could have brought about such a deliverance through the prayers of so many.
It was, indeed, a wonderful flowing together in prayer by the national and international Body of Christ, with every person’s prayers and actions making a difference. Dutch Sheets, an insightful prayer leader here, so wisely and appropriately said these words:
“America’s recovery/turnaround did not begin, is not continuing, and will not be completed because of one gathering, group, or event. Every prayer, person, and effort matters… every prayer – whether prayed by the alone person no one will ever see, by moms and dads in their homes, or by many on a stage – they’re all important parts of God’s orchestrated effort to turn America.” (Give Him 15, 10/30)

Again, we are deeply grateful for your prayer support that has helped to turn the tide and is bringing about His breakthroughs in this battle for America and our world.
Yours in Christ,
John Robb
